The AZ200 coating (200 g/m² double-sided, ~24 μm per side) features a 55% aluminum-zinc alloy (55% Al, 43–43.5% Zn, 1.5% Si) applied via continuous hot-dip process. This provides dual-phase protection: aluminum forms a dense oxide barrier against moisture and chlorides, while zinc offers sacrificial protection at cut edges. Under ASTM B117 salt spray testing, AZ200 achieves 480+ hours of corrosion resistance—significantly outperforming lighter coatings—and delivers 25–40 years of maintenance-free service in mild industrial environments, making it the specified choice for offshore and coastal infrastructure.
