Product Description
The hot dip galvalume steel is a kind of coated steel. With the cold rolled steel of different strength and thickness as substrate, it is produced through applying Al-Zn coat on both faces by hot dip process. In its coating, Al accounts for about 55%, Si 1.6%, while the remaining is Zn. It enjoys both the physical protective feature and durability of Al and the electrochemical protective property of Zn. And its surface has bright silver color and regular embossed-like figure, which are highly decorative.

- Excellent Corrosion Resistance: Similar to galvanized steel, the Al-Zn coating will protect the base metal. Especially, when the zinc layer is worn, there will be a layer of dense alumina to prevent the base metal from further corrosion. It is proved that GL steel will serve 3 times longer than GI steel does. That's why GL steel is preferred in severe environments.
- Great Heat Resistance: Aluzinc steel has good heat resistance to withstand temperatures of more than 300 degrees Celsius, and it is often used in chimney pipes, oven illuminators, and lampshades.
- High Heat Reflectivity: The thermal reflectivity of GL is twice of galvanized steel so it is often used as a heat-insulating material. Therefore, it is a better choice for roofing in a hot climate.
- Beautiful Appearance: The surface of GL steel is smooth and with spangles, which makes it good-looking. So it can be used directly without painting.

All goods will be inspected after finishing manufacture, a series of tests will be carried out, such as pencil hardness test, scribing hardness (also known as scratch hardness test), cut test, coating thickness measure, glossiness measure, impact test, moisture resistance test. Survey report will be issued and presented to clients. We ensure that all products conform to the requirements of the order and relevant international standards.
The packing of coils consists of anti-damp paper, PVC film, cardboard, the cargoes will be strapped with steel strips, fixed with locks and edge protectors and guarantees the optimal condition of the delivered goods.
